Plenty of parking. Medium sized Walmart. The Market is great! Petco is here too and reasonable. Good place with knowledgeable people.
There's a pretty small Walmart here, still it has just about everything. Friends tell me Market32 is a great place, I never have as it's a bit out of my way. Michael's is an art/decorating place, not something I use a lot but it's a relatively new location and seems to have everything they do at their other locations.
(Dry goods & Groceries).
The stores are great and easy to get to. The big problem here is the terrible parking lot. The pavement is tore apart everywhere.
Make sure to bring your own jumper cables in Winter. This parking lot is the coldest place in Torrington. Wal-Mart has everything. Great prices, great selection. Gotta love a town in New England with a Super Wal-Mart ...
Typical Walmart. Lines are occasionally a little long and a little crowded, but prices are good on just about everything. They have a freezer food section but no fresh produce. They recently added a self-checkout area with 10-12 booths so that definitely helped with the check-out congestion.
