I find this store/franchise amazing. My husband and I are in the market for a new mattress. I tried several in this store and the owner (Anthony) was very helpful and answered all my questions. The mattresses are very well constructed and priced extremely reasonably. I will be back with my husband no doubt. If you want a high quality mattress and a no pressure but very informative owner assisting you in your search for a mattress this is the place to go.....
I went into Mattress by Appointment to get an inexpensive firm bed because I was going to have back surgery soon and I wanted to make sure I had a firm bed to come back to after my operation.
Anthony had a sale on a few different queen size beds and I found one that I liked and Anthony delivered to me (free of charge) to my home in Torrington.
This place may work for some, but it was definitely not our cup of tea. I will not suggest this establishment to anyone I know and I would only give them 1 star, but the gentleman was very polite.
I met with Anthony and I can say he knows his stuff. I'd recommend Anthony to anyone who is sick of shopping the big box stores. Nice to get back to the personal touch. Thanks Anthony
After a few days the bed wasn't feeling as firm as I thought it did originally so I went back to Anthony and bought a box spring. Anthony delivered the box spring (free of charge).
Saw this store along my travels. My husband and I stopped in and they were closed at 2 pm on a Tuesday (they don't have store hours??). We came back a couple days later and there were several things we did not like: We had to park across the street because there is little to no parking in front of the store. They only had 4 decent queen mattresses to choose from, the rest were nothing I would ever consider purchasing. My biggest problem was that I did not recognize one brand name, they were all off-brand names I'd never heard of. The gentleman was definitely a "salesman" and he did not give us much space. We'd have preferred to browse on our own accord, but this can be typical of salespeople.
Purchased a full sized bed from Anthony. Great quality at a great price. Highly recommended
Another few days went by and the bed still wasn't feeling very firm. We went back to Anthony and he was willing to take back the bed and exchange it for a MUCH nicer bed and only charged us a small amount for the upgrade because of the trouble we had. He delivered that bed (free of charge) and took back the other bed.
We were very happy and a bit surprised by how accommodating Anthony was. The final bed we settled one was much more expensive than Anthony sold it to us for. He said he wanted to take care of the issue for us... To repay him I made him a tray of lasagna....
