Overall, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with dealing with a service company, from how they were on the day of to how they dealt with the complain. Do not, under any circumstances, hire them for your event as they are sure to ruin it.
We booked a bus from Middletown CT to Warwick N.Y. for the day. What a great time we had our driver Dale was on time at each location. The bus arrived on time for our pick up and it was spotless what a joy to have a clean ride. The driver Dale was very professional what a joy to have him as our driver. Definitely recommend Kelly will use them again.
DEAR KELLEY TRANSIT.....FORMER EMPLOYEE HERE JUST WANTED TO INFORM YOU OF HOW. HAPPY I AM AT MY NEW JOB MAKING MORE THAN THE SLAVE WAGES I USED TO MAKE WORKING FOR YOU HORRIBLE PEOPLE. ....I BETTER HAVE MY W2 BY NO LATER THAN THE FIRST WEEK OF FEBRUARY 2017.....OTHERWISE I WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO CALL THE BBB.....THANKS IN ADVANCE F.Y.I YOU DON'T EVEN DESERVE THAT STAR
This meant our guests arrived at the wedding reception 2 hours late, which meant we had to pay the musicians and caterers for the extra hours.
When the bus eventually arrived at the reception venue, someone from Kelley Transit stood in the buses doorway and refused to let people off. She said that it was unsafe, despite us having staff in Orange High Visibility vests, and the headlights of parked cars lighting the way. She only let people off the bus when a member of the wedding party told them that they can’t hold people hostage on a bus.
Shame on you Kelley!!! I will never use your services again!!!
Our wedding guests (the passengers) told the driver they were going the wrong way, because the driver didn’t have GPS and also admitted that she was lost, but she didn’t listen to them.
She chartered three buses for a 5am departure. The company sent out one bus with non working air-conditioning on the most humid day in August, and a second of the three buses, we would later learn, only 70 miles from home on the return trip had to be "recycled" which led to a ONE HOUR delay sitting at a rest stop at 1030 pm.
At the church, one of the bus drivers blocked the exit of the church driveway meaning people were blocked, including the parents of the bride who were hosting the reception at their home. When asked to move the bus they were told that she would move it when she was ready - very rude.
I emailed Kelley Transit to complain, and ask for compensation to cover the cost of keeping the staff for the extra hours but they refused.
First of all, how do you send two malfunctioning buses on an out of state trip? Secondly, when you know you have malfunctioning buses but between 9am and 7pm you do NOTHING to rectify it, ensuring your passengers return to a hot and steamy bus after hours walking around in the hot sun and on the beach. The temperature on the bus was UNBEARABLE, only further exacerbated by the lukewarm air blowing from the vents. It was a health hazard and in spite of them knowing, they did nothing about it.
We booked 3 coaches with Kelley Transit for our wedding. That was a mistake!
On top of that, the stop 70 miles from home for "10 minutes" also brought a case of hot water purchased by the other bus driver on what turned into a one hour stay, for reasons we still don't understand. Subsequently when the trip finally resumed, we coasted along at 45 miles an hour on interstate 84, turning our last leg into literally the long days journey into night. Topped off by a ridiculously loud or quiet at times sound system, the bus company ruined what was otherwise a spectacular day!!!
This establishment is trash they left a group of children stranded on a broke down bus and refused to send another bus to pick them up so we (the parents) had to call another bus company to make other arrangements to get our children off of that bus and out of the storm on top of that they were very rude it's the worst customer service I have ever experienced I can't believe the amount of negligence this company has shown I can't believe they were really okay with leaving children on a broke down bus in the storm they don't even deserve one star if I could give then zero stars I would
When we finally had the guests on the buses, two of them got lost and drove in the wrong direction, for an hour! (the drive was supposed to be 20 minutes!!)
Had absolutely the worst coach bus experience I have ever had yesterday on a day trip to Martha's vineyard from Windsor, CT arranged by my dear friend.
