Always have good tasting hamburgers. There are chicken 'burgers.' The milkshakes are not the starchy things you get at other fast food places and the is a variety of flavors. The fries are real. The people behind the counter are great. There should be more of these around.
The food is great. Everything is prepared old-fashioned. The burgers are delicious and you can customize them with over a dozen different ingredients. They also have special burgers and shakes of the month that are quite creative. Their shakes can be prepared like the old days and you should definitely try one. My only complaint and why I took away a star, and it is a big one, is pricing. They are waaaaay overpriced, even though they are filling a niche in old-fashioned fast food. I only eat here once every few months now. If their prices were better, I'd be eating here once every week or two.
Meh. Came in for the first time for the $3.99 burger night after receiving an email from Jakes. The employees went around apologizing to the owner for allowing me to order them but only because I specifically asked? The order still came to almost $20 for 2 combo meals. And then the burgers were both not what I ordered. Not impressed.
Food is great,freshly cooked to order. Not cheap food, but worth every cent. Get on their mailing list for really great specials.
Tasty food. A bit overpriced. Way too many fries. Always a bit on the cold side even in the summer. The place has way too many windows so it is pretty cool in the winter. Then you are sitting on aluminum chairs that are even cold in the summer. The food is good.
