I ordered an "upgrade phone" on the AT & T website, chose the option pick up in a nearby store.
A few minutes later, Tom called my name; he quickly picked up the phone I had ordered. Tom knows his job he is very efficient made all formalities in a snap. Asked if I needed anything else, He was not pushy when I said no thanks. I can recommend AT & T Mobility in Torrington The whole staff is very friendly and knowledgeable
Very frustrating. I went in to try to buy a iPhone X for my son for Christmas. I could not buy a new phone to present to him on Christmas without turning his old phone in right then because there is still some money owed on his last one. I would not be able to bring in his old phone after Christmas and then get the trade in discount. Much of the time was spent trying to sell me Direct tv which I do not want. Also could not get details on why the X is better than the 8.
Went to AT & T Mobility in Torrington. At the door a friendly lady put my name on the digital waiting list.
Its good but it could be better. For starters, whenever I enter there is a waiting list which sucks for people who dont have a lot of time to spend there. When myself and a family member went to upgrade our cell phones, the app for moving data to your new phone was useless so we had to wait 30 minutes to an hour for them to tramsfer my stuff. To be honest its frustrating but the staff is nice and I would go again.
Excellent! I was ready for an unpleasant experience based on former phone purchases, BUT Samantha was wonderful and made it a very nice experience. She was knowledgable and not pushy. I left in a reasonable time and fully set up. Thank You Samantha!
Let me start off by saying I have had my cell service for 20+ years, my first phone was the Motorola 550 flip. This store is the worst I have ever been in. Went to have a replacement prepaid phone activated for a family member. The woman that helped me had a serious attitude problem. First she asked to see my ID and then proceeded to try to scan it without my permission. She did not take it well when I told her do not scan my ID. Then instead of scanning the info on the box the phone came in which clearly states scan for activation she uses a piece of tape to get the sim card out of the phone. The whole time she is neurotically writing and alpha numeric number on a post it over and oven and over until there was no space left on the paper. She tells me I'm all set and sends me on my way. Well the phone is not working. So I call the go phone dept only to find out that she never updated the sim card in the system or the imei number. On top of everything else the two guys there stood on the other side of the room and watched her through the whole process and did nothing to assist. This is not my first bad experience at this store but it certainly my worst. UPDATE just when I thought it couldn't get any worse they managed to outdo themselves. I go in to put money on a prepaid phone, I have cash in hand, the kiosk is broke, the lady says oh I can help you but not unless you let me scan your ID. Please explain to me why you have to scan my ID to take my cash payment for a prepaid phone these people are f****** a holes!
