Randy is really great and knows his stuff, this is the only shop I know of that carries processing chemicals and equipment in stock. Bring your money when you go because while their prices are fair, you might spot that thing you have been looking for while you are there, it has happened to me more than once, and no, it was not because of a hard sell. Beginner or expert, they have what you need.
I have been going to this shop for years and they have been very helpful about all sorts of things. The service is unparalleled, and there's no pressure to buy. Today was help with a framing issue. They had the perfect frame to fit an odd-sized print, and installed it for me at no charge, the whole thing taking ten minutes. While that was being done I talked to Randy about a new camera, and found the perfect one. I can't imagine going anywhere else for camera advice. This shop is a Torrington gem.
