This year took to Dons ... got me going again for way less than any of my used REPAIRS.. with new parts.. switch failed due to bad (used Stator THANKS ACE ##$hole)
Worst experience ever with a boat/marine/storage service facility. The only way to truly describe Ace is that service is bad and employees incompetent. After storing the boat with this sub-par company they launched it but forgot/neglected to add OIL thus causing damage to the engine. The person to speak to is invisible Gregg, somehow this man works there but apparently is never there to take a call or return a call. Do not waste your money with this company you will be disappointed. They are slow, nothing gets done, they collect your money but performance is just not there. I am appalled and very disappointed in the service and the final results of a damaged engine. If you want it done right this is not the place!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking to have work done on their boat .
Actually.. No stars.. they took my boat in... said a couple of days...AFTER 2 weeks called and asked about status of my boat.. ohh were busy.. not what I was told when I dropped off.....finally got it back..Told it was a bad switch box.! They replaced it with a used one at a discount price. Got it back, broke down first trip out...Brought boat back said OHH will get right on it......2 weeks later said bad stator , we replaced with a used one.... SAVED U HUNDEDS At a discount on a used one..went out again and broke down

Although Ace Marine is a extremely affordable option for either maintaining or storing you boat/watercraft you truly get what you pay for. To put into context Ace was hired and paid to store my boat and winterize which if there was one positive it was that the boat was taken out of the water before the winter. At the end of the winter and prior to placing the watercraft in the lake, as it was previously paid for, some services to be performed such as cleaning, waxing etc which had been done in prior years without any complaint. Unfortunately this season something drastically went wrong, the boat was not properly winterized causing pipes in the bilge to burst almost testing the zero buoyancy of the boat; the boat was physically damaged in multiple locations and no cleaning/waxing as previously paid for was performed. After trying to communicate with someone other than the receptionist she was able to get an individual Greg on the phone (after a month and a half of calling the same receptionist) who knew of the damage etc and said that the boat would be taken out and fixed and all services were to be performed as previously paid for. Well the long and short of it is that the boat was never repaired, no contact from Greg or anyone else.
Great bunch of people ,very up to date with new machinery out there!!!
Although inexpensive compared to other similar businesses the amount of time and money to repair the damage ACE caused far exceeded the saving of storing and using this business. You get what you pay for and at Ace it's incompetence and a very successful trait of avoiding calls and promised repairs and service.
