Would rather give this zero stars. Absolutely DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! I'm extremely upset with the treatment that I received here. I'm not sure if it's because I went in as a single woman but I initially went in for an oil change. Just a week after receiving my car back, my alternator died and needed to be replaced. Being new to the area I went back to where I had my oil changed (abate) and they were more than happy to have return business. Only two days after my alternator was replaced I was driving with my elderly mother and three children when my car starting losing pieces of the engine while in motion. It was winter time and I lost my power steering almost crashing into a large snow bank and then a tree. I had the car looked at by two other mechanics who told me that my serpentine belt had come off in one piece due to the alternator not being bolted down properly. I had my car towed back to Abate and they wanted to charge me over $1000 to fix the car!!! I was appalled that they would not fix what they so clearly did not put together in the first place. All in all I took my car to another mechanic down the road and have not had a problem yet. But I'm still out almost $2000 from oil change to now. Do NOT being your car here if you want a one and done fix it if you want your car back in one piece.
